DOG VIDEO COLLECTION

Your video.
Your choice.

Kaivee collects voluntarily submitted dog videos and the observations you write about them. We use these contributions to develop and evaluate dog-behaviour research tools.

What we collect

How it is used

Videos may be reviewed, labelled, and used to train or evaluate machine-learning models. They are not intended for public display or sale. Automated predictions are research outputs, not veterinary advice.

Before you upload

Only upload footage you have permission to share. Avoid videos containing identifiable people, private conversations, addresses, documents, or other personal information. If a person is visible or audible, get their permission first.

Storage and access

Uploads are stored in private cloud storage. Access to the video library and dataset tools is restricted to the Kaivee administrator. No internet service is risk-free, so do not upload sensitive footage.

Deletion requests

Keep the original filename and approximate upload date. These details help identify a contribution if you later ask for deletion. Before public launch, Kaivee must publish a working contact address here for access or deletion requests.

Retention

Contributions are retained while they remain useful for the research dataset, unless deletion is requested or continued storage is no longer appropriate. A specific retention period must be chosen before public launch.
